If you are driving from anywhere in Hestur Island, head towards the nearest ferry terminal at Hestur, which is located on the west side of the island. The ferry operates frequently, so check the schedule for the next departure to Tórshavn. Once you arrive in Tórshavn, follow the signs to Argir. Drive through Tórshavn, and take the road leading to Argir. Follow Rættargøta, and you will find Føroya Sjósavn located at 8 Rættargøta, Argir, 160. There is limited parking available near the aquarium.

To reach Føroya Sjósavn using public transportation, first take the ferry from Hestur to Tórshavn. Once you arrive at Tórshavn, you can take a local bus towards Argir. Look for bus line 1 or 2, which will take you directly to Argir. Get off at the stop closest to Rættargøta. From there, it’s a short walk to 8 Rættargøta, where Føroya Sjósavn is located.
