Public Transport
To reach Dunnesdrangar using public transport, take bus route 300 from Tórshavn to Sørvágur on Vágar Island. From the bus stop in Sørvágur, it's approximately a 3 km walk to the starting point of the guided hike to Dunnesdrangar. Bus fare from Tórshavn to Sørvágur is approximately 60 DKK.
Walking
The hike to Dunnesdrangar starts from Sørvágur. From the village center, follow Mýravegur road. Continue through a hole in the fence to the right of the turn, and follow the river south. The hike is approximately 3 km across moorland and takes about 1 hour. Note that a guided tour is mandatory and costs 450 DKK per person.
