Public Transport

To reach Klovningur using public transport, take the bus from Tórshavn to Sandavágur. Check the local bus timetable for the most accurate schedule information. From Sandavágur, it's approximately a 3 km walk to Klovningur. Follow the road signs towards Klovningur and enjoy the scenic views along the way. A multi-day travel card for buses and ferries is available. A 4-day adult card costs 500 DKK.

Walking

If you are already in Sandavágur, you can walk to Klovningur. Head towards the outskirts of the village in the direction of Klovningur. The walk is approximately 3 km and will take you through some beautiful landscapes. Follow the road signs, and be aware of local traffic. It's advisable to wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for varying weather conditions.

Car

If traveling by car, head towards Sandavágur in the Vágar Municipality. From the center of Sandavágur, follow the signs towards Klovningur. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes from Sandavágur. Park at the designated parking area near the landmark. Be aware that roads can be narrow and winding, so drive carefully. Petrol costs around 12.85 DKK per litre.
