A taxi will cost around 200 DKK. 2. **Ferry to Mykines:** The ferry to Mykines departs from the Sørvágur marina. Purchase tickets in advance online at mykines.fo. A one-way ticket costs 60 DKK. Helicopter
An alternative, though less common, way to reach Mykines is by helicopter from Vágar Airport (FAE). 1. **From Vágar Airport (FAE):** Proceed to the Atlantic Airways helicopter terminal. 2. **Helicopter to Mykines:** Helicopter service is primarily for locals, but visitors can book one-way tickets. Bookings can be made through Atlantic Airways. A one-way ticket costs approximately 145 DKK. The flight is about 11 minutes. Note: Helicopter service is weather-dependent and priority is given to local residents. If you take the helicopter to Mykines, there is no guarantee you will be able to return the same way.
