If you're traveling by car within Kunoy Island, start from the village of Kunoy. Take the main road heading north towards Viðareiði. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will reach the fork in the road. Take the left fork towards Viðareiði. Continue on this road, enjoying the scenic views of the coastline and mountains. As you approach the village of Viðareiði, keep an eye out for a small dirt road leading to the Vidareidi Viewpoint on your left. Park your car safely at the roadside, as the viewpoint area may not have dedicated parking.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, check the local bus schedules that operate between the main villages of the Faroe Islands. You can take a bus from Klaksvik to Viðareiði. Once you arrive in Viðareiði, you will need to walk to the viewpoint. From the bus stop, walk towards the coastline and follow the road leading up towards the viewpoint. It’s about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop to the viewpoint, so make sure to wear good walking shoes and be prepared for varying weather conditions.
