The bus journey from Sørvágur to Gásadalur is approximately 7 minutes. A single bus fare within the region typically costs around 30 DKK.

If driving, follow the main road in Gásadalur towards the village exit. The Sunset Viewpoint is a few minutes' drive from the village center. Parking areas are available near the viewpoint. Driving through the Gásadalstunnilin tunnel is necessary to reach the village; be aware that it is a one-lane tunnel with lay-bys for passing. There are no tolls for the tunnel.
