Getting There

Driving
From Vágar Airport, follow Route 22 west towards Sørvágur. In Sørvágur, signs will direct you to Route 45 towards Bøur and Gásadalur. Drive through the one-lane Gásadalstunnilin tunnel (ensure headlights are on). Continue into Gásadalur. Parking is available near the village entrance. From there, follow the walking path to the Sunset Viewpoint. There are no tolls to reach Gásadalur. Parking is free.

Public Transport
From Tórshavn, take bus 300 to Sørvágur. Transfer to bus 350, which will take you to Gásadalur. Get off the bus in Gásadalur and follow the walking path to the Sunset Viewpoint. A single bus fare from Tórshavn to Sørvágur is approximately 30 DKK. The bus 350 is infrequent. Consider purchasing a multi-day travel card for 500 DKK for four days of travel.

Walking
From Gásadalur village, locate the marked trailhead on the eastern edge of the village. Follow the well-defined path uphill for approximately 1.5 kilometers to the Sunset Viewpoint. The path can be steep in places, so wear appropriate footwear. There are no costs associated with walking to the viewpoint.
