    To reach Gásadalur by public transport, take bus route 300 from Tórshavn or Vágar Airport to Sørvágur. From Sørvágur, transfer to bus route 350, which will take you directly to Gásadalur. The bus journey from Sørvágur to Gásadalur is approximately 7 minutes. A single bus fare within the region typically costs around 30 DKK.

    If driving, follow the main road in Gásadalur towards the village exit. The Sunset Viewpoint is a few minutes' drive from the village center. Parking areas are available near the viewpoint. Ensure you check weather and road conditions, as they can change quickly in the Faroe Islands. Driving through the Gásadalstunnilin tunnel is necessary to reach the village; be aware that it is a one-lane tunnel with lay-bys for passing. There are no tolls for the tunnel.
