Driving
From Vágar Airport, drive west on Route 22 towards Sørvágur. In Sørvágur, follow Route 45 towards Gásadalur. The drive takes about 15 minutes. Pass through the one-lane Gásadalstunnilin tunnel (free). Upon exiting the tunnel, a winding road leads into Gásadalur. Parking is free in designated spots. Be mindful of the single-lane tunnel and use lay-bys for oncoming traffic.
Public Transport
From Tórshavn or Vágar Airport, take bus route 300 to Sørvágur. Transfer to bus route 350, which runs to Gásadalur. Check the SSL website for the bus timetable. A multi-day travel card (excluding Mykines) costs DKK 500 for four days. Bus 350 departures are limited and may require a phone request two hours before departure. Consider a taxi from Sørvágur to Gásadalur as an alternative.
