From the Tórshavn bus terminal or city center, the ferry terminal is easily accessible by foot. The walk is approximately 10-15 minutes. From the main square (Steinatún), walk towards the harbor and follow the signs for Nólsoy ferry.

Tórshavn's red city buses (Bussleiðin) provide free transport to the ferry terminal. Check local bus routes and schedules to align with ferry departures. Note that the free bus service may no longer be available and tickets may need to be purchased.

Taxis are available throughout Tórshavn and can take you directly to the ferry terminal. A short taxi ride from the city center will cost approximately 80-120 DKK. Taxi stands are located near the main square and the harbor.

If you have a car, it's recommended to park it in Tórshavn before taking the ferry, as there's limited need for a vehicle on Nólsoy. Parking in Tórshavn is free, but time restrictions apply in the city center. Several parking lots offer 8-hour parking within a 5-minute walk of the ferry terminal. Be aware of parking restrictions, which are enforced Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 and Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00. Parking fines can be around 500 DKK.
