From the center of Runavík, head southwest on Mýravegur towards the nature preserve. Follow Mýravegur for approximately 2 kilometers. The entrance to Vistarheimið will be on your right, marked with a sign for the nature preserve. There are no admission fees.

From the Runavík bus stop (located by Hotel Runavík), take any bus that travels along Mýravegur in the direction of Glyvrar. Ask the driver to let you off near Vistarheimið. From the bus stop, walk southwest on Mýravegur for a short distance until you reach the entrance to the nature preserve on your right. A single bus fare within Runavík typically costs 20 DKK.

Driving
From Runavík, drive southwest on Mýravegur. Follow the road for approximately 2 kilometers. The entrance to Vistarheimið will be on your right. Limited parking is available near the entrance. Parking is restricted in Runavík, so ensure a parking disc is displayed showing your arrival time. Parking violations may incur a fine of 500 DKK.
