Getting There

Walking
If you are in the center of Tórshavn, start at the main square, called 'Tórshavn Torv'. Head east on Niels Finsens Gøta, which will take you along the waterfront. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Tórshavnar Brekk. Turn left and walk straight until you reach the old part of the town, known as Tinganes. It will be on your right side. The walk should take about 10-15 minutes.

If you are near the ferry terminal, exit the terminal and head southwest towards the main road, known as Røttuvøttur. Turn right and continue along the waterfront. When you reach the intersection with Niels Finsens Gøta, turn left. Follow this road until you come to Tinganes, which will be on your left. This route takes approximately 20 minutes.
