Walking
If you are in the center of Tórshavn, start at the Town Hall (Bygningin). From there, head east on Niels Finsens Gøta. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Hoyvíksvegur. Turn left onto Hoyvíksvegur and continue walking for approximately 1.2 kilometers. You will pass some local shops and cafes along the way. Tjarnargarður will be on your right at 58 Hoyvíksvegur.

From the central bus station in Tórshavn, take bus number 1 towards Hoyvík. The journey will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Hoyvíksvegur' stop. After exiting the bus, you will need to walk approximately 200 meters back towards the direction of the bus. Tjarnargarður will be at 58 Hoyvíksvegur, on your left.
