If you are traveling by car from anywhere in the Archipelago National Park, start by finding your way to Route 1 (E18). This major highway connects many towns and areas within the park. Follow Route 1 in the direction of Eura and then take Route 4 (E75) towards Kainuu. After approximately 200 km, take the exit towards Sotkamo. Continue on Hiidenportintie, which will lead you directly to Hiidenportti National Park. The park entrance is located at Hiidenportintie 86, 88600 Sotkamo. Make sure to park in the designated parking area, which is free.

Public Transportation
To reach Hiidenportti National Park using public transportation, take a train from Turku or Helsinki to Kajaani. The train ride takes approximately 5-6 hours.
