Walking
The University of Jyväskylä's Seminaarinmäki campus is easily accessible on foot from the Jyväskylä city center and the Matkakeskus (Travel Center). From the city center, walk north along Kauppakatu, then turn left onto Seminaarinkatu. The campus begins a few blocks ahead. From the Matkakeskus, walk east along Hannikaisenkatu, then turn right onto Seminaarinkatu. The walk is approximately 1 kilometer.

Public Transport
The University of Jyväskylä is well-served by local buses (Linkki). From the Jyväskylä city center or Matkakeskus, take any bus that stops near the university campus. Check the Linkki website or app for specific routes and timetables. A single ticket costs €4.00 when purchased with cash from the driver, or €2.70 if using a Waltti card or mobile app. Contactless payment is also available on buses for single tickets, starting from €2.70.

Taxis are readily available in Jyväskylä. You can find taxi stands at the Matkakeskus and in the city center, or book a taxi by phone or mobile app. A taxi ride from the city center to the University of Jyväskylä typically costs around €29.
