    From Helsinki city center, the fastest way to reach the Gallen-Kallela Museum is by bus. Take bus 106 from Kamppi to Majurinkulma, from where it's a 1.2km walk east to the museum. Alternatively, take tram 4 to its terminus and walk 2km east. Several bus lines, including 202, 502, and 520, stop near the Gallen-Kallela Museum. A single bus ticket within the Helsinki region costs approximately €3.20.

  • Driving

    If driving, parking is available at the end of Gallen-Kallelan tie, just outside the museum grounds. Parking is limited, but additional parking can be found along the road. Parking with a disabled parking permit is allowed in the designated space next to the café building. There is no parking allowed on the road leading to the museum site.

  • Walking

    From the Munkkiniemi area of Helsinki or the Ruukinranta district of Espoo, the museum is accessible by foot. You can walk through Tarvo island when coming to the Museum from Munkkiniemi, Helsinki. There is a 2.5 km walk to the Museum from tram 4 stop Laajalahden aukio. In good weather this route is best for scenery !
