Getting There

    From Katajanokka, head towards the southern waterfront. Walk along the waterfront promenade towards the east until you reach the intersection with Kauppatori (Market Square). Continue straight ahead until you see the Uspenski Cathedral on your right. After passing Uspenski Cathedral, take the first right onto Unioninkatu street, where you will continue walking straight for about 500 meters. Helsinki Cathedral will be on your left side at Unioninkatu 29.

    If you prefer to take a tram, you can walk to the nearest tram stop called 'Katajanokka' located on the eastern side of the neighbourhood. From there, take tram line 4 towards 'Munkkiniemi'. After two stops, get off at 'Senaatintori', which is the stop closest to Helsinki Cathedral. From the tram stop, you will see the Cathedral directly ahead, just a short walk away.
