    From Katajanokka, start at the Katajanokka Market Square (Katajanokan Kauppatori). Head northwest towards the main road, and take the path leading to the bridge called 'Vanhankaupungin Silta'. Cross the bridge, which will take you over to the mainland. Once you reach the other side, continue straight onto 'Pohjoisesplanadi'. Walk along this road for about 800 meters, passing various shops and cafes. When you reach the end of the street, you'll see the imposing Helsinki Cathedral directly in front of you, which stands at Senate Square.
