Bus
From Kuusamo city center, take a bus towards Ruka or Juuma. Check the Matkahuolto website or Reitit ja liput app for schedules. The bus will drop you off near the Oulanka National Park or Juuma, from where you can walk to Aallokkokoski Rapids. A single bus fare costs approximately €5-€10.
Car
From Kuusamo, drive along road E63 and then take Juumantie (road 18897) towards Juuma. Follow the signs to Oulanka National Park and Aallokkokoski. Parking is available at Juuma (Juumantie 134, Kuusamo) and Oulanka Basecamp (Myllykoskentie 33, Kuusamo). Parking is free. From the parking areas, it's a short walk to the rapids.
Taxi
Taxis are available in Kuusamo and Ruka. A taxi ride from Kuusamo city center to Aallokkokoski Rapids will cost approximately €40-€60. Taxi services operate 24/7. Consider using a shared taxi during the summer to reduce costs.
