    Liesjärvi National Park is located off main road 2 (Helsinki - Pori). From Helsinki, drive approximately 95 km. From Forssa, the park is about 22 km away. Several parking areas provide access to different parts of the park, including Kopinlahti, Peukalolamminkangas, and Korteniemi. Follow the signs for Liesjärvi National Park and Korteniemi Heritage Farm from Kansallispuistontie. Note that some navigators may give incorrect driving instructions, especially to Korteniemi and Lehdos; follow signs on Kansallispuistontie instead. Parking is free, but can be limited during peak season. There are no tolls on the immediate final approach.

    To reach Liesjärvi National Park via public transport, take a bus from Helsinki to Loukku L. From there, transfer to a local bus or taxi towards Korteniementie. The closest bus stop to Peukaloinen trail is Kyynärä (Tammela). Check Matkahuolto website for tickets. From the Kyynärä bus stop, Peukalonlamminkangas is located 5.8 kilometers from the main road. A single bus ticket from Helsinki to Loukku L costs approximately $8 - $12. A taxi from Tammela to the park entrance will cost approximately 20-30 EUR.
