The Ukko-Luosto Scenic Hut is a day-use hut on the northern slopes of Ukko-Luosto Fell, within Pyhä-Luosto National Park. Inaugurated in 2022, it offers panoramic views and a cozy space for hikers. The hut features a small exhibition called 'Lightscapes of a Fell', showcasing the area's unique light phenomena.

Walking
From the Luosto slope parking area or Luosto Caravan Park, follow the signs towards Tikkalaavu. The trail to Ukko-Luosto Scenic Hut begins from the corner of the caravan park. The well-maintained gravel path ascends for approximately 2 km, taking around 30-40 minutes to reach the hut. Be prepared for some steep sections along the way.

Public Transport
Take the SkiBus from Rovaniemi Airport or Rovaniemi Railway Station to Luosto. From the Luosto bus stop, it's approximately a 15-20 minute walk to the Luosto slope parking area, the starting point for the Ukko-Luosto Scenic Hut trail. Bus tickets from Rovaniemi to Luosto range from €7-€35. Check the bus timetable in advance, especially during off-season.
