Porvoon Museo, Holmin talo, is located in the heart of Old Porvoo at Välikatu 11. From the Porvoo bus station, walk north on Aleksanterinkatu, then turn left onto Välikatu. The museum will be on your left. This walk is approximately 5-10 minutes. Be aware of cobblestone streets.

The primary mode of public transportation within Porvoo is the bus system, operated by Helsinki Region Transport (HSL). Several bus lines stop near the Old Town. Check local bus schedules for the most up-to-date information. A single ticket costs approximately €2.50 if paying with cash or card, or €1.80 if using the Trips and Ticket app.

Parking in Old Porvoo is limited. The closest paid parking is on Rihkamatori, about 150 meters from the museum. Free parking is available on Kalevankatu, about 300 meters away. Parking fees are approximately €2/hour. During the Old Bridge repair in 2025, there is plenty of parking space for those arriving in Old Porvoo: On-street parking along Vanha Helsingintie; On-street parking in the Tykkipuisto area; Näsin kartano parking area; Short-term parking for buses along Vanha Helsingintie and a new parking area by Näsintie.
