Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the city of Oulu, which is approximately 30 km away. Head northeast on Route 4 (E75) towards Kiiminki. After about 20 km, take the exit toward Kiiminki. Continue straight on Kiiminkijärventie for about 5 km until you reach the intersection with Koitelinkoskentie. Turn left onto Koitelinkoskentie and follow it for about 3 km. Koitelinkoski will be on your right at Koitelinkoskentie 418, 90900 Kiiminki. Parking is available nearby.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Koitelinkoski using public transportation, take a bus from Oulu to Kiiminki. Buses run regularly, and you can check schedules at the Oulu bus station. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Kiiminki, you can take a local taxi to Koitelinkoskentie 418. The taxi ride will cost approximately 15-20 euros and takes about 10 minutes.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, cycling from Oulu to Koitelinkoski is a scenic option. Follow the Route 4 bike paths, which are well-maintained. The distance is around 30 km, and it will take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your cycling speed. Once in Kiiminki, continue onto Koitelinkoskentie, which is a direct route to the destination.

• Walking (from Kiiminki)

  If you are already in Kiiminki and prefer walking, you can walk to Koitelinkoski from the town center. The distance is approximately 5 km, which will take around 1 hour. Head northeast on Kiiminkijärventie and then turn left onto Koitelinkoskentie. Follow the road until you reach Koitelinkoskentie 418, 90900 Kiiminki.
