    Public Transport

    To reach the Kaarniaispolku Trail from Helsinki, take a train (A, E, U, S, L, or Y) to Leppävaara. From Leppävaara, transfer to bus 244, which will take you towards Siikaniemi. From the bus stop, follow signs to the Veikkola industrial area where the trail commences at the Kaarniaispolku parking area. A single ABC ticket, valid for both train and bus, costs approximately €4.

    Driving

    If driving from Helsinki, take highway 1 (Helsinki-Turku) and exit to road 110/Hista, turning left. After approximately 1 km, turn left onto Brobackantie road and drive for about 10 km, passing the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia. Then, turn left onto Haukkalammentie road, a narrow unpaved road. Continue for two kilometers to reach a public parking area near the Hawk Nest. From there, follow signs to the Kaarniaispolku Trail. Parking is free. Note that parking is only allowed in designated areas.

    Wear appropriate footwear, as the trail can be wet and slippery in places, especially on the duckboards crossing the swampy areas.
