  • Public Transport

    To reach Nuuksio Climbing Rock via public transport from Helsinki, take a commuter train (S, U, E, or L) from Helsinki Central Station to Espoo Station. From Espoo, transfer to bus 245(A) towards Nuuksio and disembark at the 'Nuuksio National Park' stop. Follow signs towards Nuuksiontie 70; the climbing rock is approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. A single ticket for both train and bus is approximately €6.

    If driving, navigate to Nuuksiontie 70, 02820 Espoo. From Helsinki city center, the drive is about 33 kilometers to Haltia Nature Centre and 39 kilometers to Kattila. Park in the designated parking area near Nuuksiontie 70. From the parking area, follow marked trails towards Nuuksio Climbing Rock, approximately a 10-minute walk. Parking is only allowed in marked parking areas. Be aware that the Haukkalampi parking area is very popular and can be crowded, especially on weekends.

    If you're already in Nuuksio National Park, find your way to the main trails leading towards Nuuksiontie 70. Follow signs directing you to Nuuksio Climbing Rock. The walk from the main trails to the rock typically takes about 15-20 minutes. Wear sturdy footwear as the terrain may be uneven.
