Walking
From Oulu Market Square (Oulun Tori), walk east towards the Oulu Cathedral. Continue straight on Kirkkokatu street until you reach the riverfront. Turn left onto the riverbank walkway and follow it along the Oulu River. The Merikoski Fountains will be visible on the riverbank near the Merikoski hydropower plant.

From Oulu Market Square, find the nearest bus stop and take bus line 5 towards 'Kiviharju.' Get off at the 'Merikoski' bus stop, which is approximately a 10-minute ride. Walk in the direction of the river, then turn left onto the riverbank walkway. Continue along the walkway, and you will see the Merikoski Fountains. A single bus ticket costs approximately €2.60 if paid with a contactless bank card or the OSL app.
