From the Oulu city center, head to the nearest bus stop, which is Hupisaartenpuisto. Board bus number 6, which will take you directly to Tietomaa Science Centre. The bus ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'Tietomaa' stop, which is right in front of the Science Centre.
Walking
If you are near the Oulu Market Square, you can walk to Tietomaa Science Centre. Start by heading south on Kirkkokatu towards the river. Cross the river using the pedestrian bridge and continue straight until you reach Nahkatehtaankatu. Turn left on Nahkatehtaankatu, and you will find the Tietomaa Science Centre on your right-hand side. The walk takes approximately 30-40 minutes.
Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental locations in Oulu. From the city center, head west towards the Oulu Cathedral. Then follow the bike paths along the river, which will lead you to Nahkatehtaankatu. Turn left on Nahkatehtaankatu, and you will reach Tietomaa Science Centre. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on your cycling speed.
