Isojärvi National Park, established in 1982, protects the forested hills and pristine lake shores west of Lake Päijänne. Located in the Pirkanmaa region, near Kuhmoinen, the park's 22 square kilometers feature a landscape sculpted by the Ice Age, with wooded hills, deep ravine valleys, and clear lakes.
