Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from within Päijät-Häme, start by navigating to Lahti. Use the E75 highway and take the exit to Lahti. Follow signs towards the city center. Once in Lahti, head towards Kirkkokatu. You will find Main Library | Lahti City Library at Kirkkokatu 31, 15140 Lahti. There is parking available nearby, but please note that parking fees may apply, so check the local parking regulations.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, you can take a bus or train to Lahti. From various locations in Päijät-Häme, check the local bus schedules or train times to get to Lahti. Once you arrive at Lahti train station or the bus terminal, you can walk to the Main Library. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the train station. Head south towards Kirkkokatu, and then continue straight until you reach Kirkkokatu 31.

• Walking from Lahti Train Station

  If you arrive at Lahti train station, exit the station and head south on Pasilankatu. Turn left onto Kirkkokatu. Continue walking straight for approximately 800 meters, and you will see the Main Library | Lahti City Library on your right at Kirkkokatu 31. This is a pleasant walk with pedestrian paths available.

• Bus from Lahti Bus Station

  If you are coming from nearby towns, you can take a bus to Lahti Bus Station. From the bus station, you can either walk to the library (about a 10-minute walk) or catch a local bus that goes towards Kirkkokatu. Check the bus schedules for the most convenient route. The library is located close to the city center, making it accessible by various local bus lines.
