The Postal Museum is located within the Museum Centre Vapriikki, situated in the heart of Tampere. From the Tampere Central Station, walk northeast along Ratapihankatu, then turn left onto Verkatehtaankatu. Continue onto Alaverstaanraitti. The Museum Centre Vapriikki will be on your left. The walk is approximately 15 minutes.

Public Transport
From Tampere Central Station, take tram line 1 or 3 towards Kauppi or Hervantajärvi, respectively. Get off at the Koskipuisto stop. From there, walk along Vuolteenkatu, turn right to Tammerkoskenkatu, and then turn left to Alaverstaanraitti. Museum Centre Vapriikki will be on your right. A single ticket for public transport in Tampere costs €3.02.

From Highway 12, follow signs for Tampere city center. Continue onto Itsenäisyydenkatu, then turn right onto Rongankatu. Turn left onto Satakunnankatu, and then turn right onto Hämeenkatu. Turn right onto Vuolteenkatu, and then turn right to Verkatehtaankatu. Turn left to Alaverstaanraitti. Museum Centre Vapriikki will be on the left. Parking is available in the nearby P-Hämppi parking garage. Parking fees in Zone 1 are EUR 3.20 per hour.
