Getting There

• Car

  If you are travelling by car from anywhere in Uusimaa, head towards Helsinki. Use the E18 motorway, which connects various cities in the region to Helsinki. Once you reach the outskirts of Helsinki, follow signs for 'Keskusta' (City Center). Exit onto Mannerheimintie and continue straight until you reach Eteläinen Rautatiekatu. Turn left onto Eteläinen Rautatiekatu, and you will find the Helsinki Art Museum at number 8. There is paid parking available nearby, so be prepared to pay for parking, which can range from €2 to €4 per hour depending on the location.

• Public Transportation - Train

  For those using public transportation, take a train from any station in Uusimaa that connects to Helsinki. The main train line is operated by VR, and you can purchase tickets at the station or online. Once you arrive at the Helsinki Central Station, exit the station and walk towards the tram stop located right outside. Upon arriving at Kamppi, transfer to tram number 4 or 10, which will take you to 'Kaisaniemi' stop. From there, walk approximately 10 minutes to the museum located at Eteläinen Rautatiekatu 8.
