From the center of Vaasa, head to the nearest bus stop. Take bus number 2 towards 'Särestöniemi' or a similar route that heads towards Gripinpolku. The bus ride will take approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Gripinpolku' stop. From the bus stop, walk approximately 500 meters northeast along Gripinpolku to reach the Alkula History Trail.

If you're starting from a central location like the Vaasa Market Square, head east towards the railway station. From there, continue along the main road (Hovioikeudenpuistikko) until you reach the intersection with Vaskiluodontie. Turn left onto Vaskiluodontie and walk straight until you reach Gripinpolku. Turn right onto Gripinpolku and walk about 1 kilometer until you arrive at the Alkula History Trail.
