Public Transport
Start at the Vaasa bus station (Vaasan Linja-autoasema). From there, take bus number 1 towards Sundom. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Sundom' stop. Once you exit the bus, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to Södersunds Väderkvarn. Head southwest on Sundomintie road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Arholmantie. Turn left onto Arholmantie and continue for about 500 meters. You will find Södersunds Väderkvarn at Arholmantie 17 on your left.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Vaasa. Start from the city center and head towards Sundom. Follow the bike lanes along the main roads. It's approximately a 7-kilometer ride to Södersunds Väderkvarn. Once you reach Sundomintie, turn left and continue until you reach Arholmantie. Turn left onto Arholmantie and ride until you reach Södersunds Väderkvarn at Arholmantie 17.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, start at the center of Vaasa. Head towards the waterfront and follow the pedestrian paths towards Sundom. This is a longer walk of about 8 kilometers, so wear comfortable shoes. When you reach Sundomintie, turn left and follow the road until you get to Arholmantie. Turn left onto Arholmantie and continue walking until you reach Södersunds Väderkvarn at Arholmantie 17.
