If you are driving, the Visitor Center Fort Caroline is located at 12751 Fort Caroline Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32225. From the center of Jacksonville, take I-95 N and then merge onto I-295 N. Exit onto FL-9A N toward Beaches and continue for approximately 6 miles. Take the exit toward Fort Caroline Rd and turn left onto Fort Caroline Rd. The Visitor Center will be on your right. There is free parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach the Visitor Center using public transportation, take the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) bus Route 5 from downtown Jacksonville. Make sure to check the schedule as routes may vary. Ride the bus towards the Beaches and get off at the nearest stop to the intersection of Fort Caroline Rd.
