If you are driving from Key Largo, head south on the Overseas Highway (US-1). Continue for approximately 20 miles. As you approach Islamorada, keep an eye out for the park entrance on your right at 84900 Overseas Hwy. The park is well-marked with signage. Parking is available on-site and is free.

If you are coming from Marathon, head north on the Overseas Highway (US-1). Drive approximately 30 miles and look for the park entrance on your left at 84900 Overseas Hwy in Islamorada. There is free parking available at the park.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, the Florida Keys Shuttle offers service between Key Largo and Key West with stops in Islamorada. You can catch the shuttle at designated stops. When you reach the Islamorada stop, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile north along the Overseas Highway to reach Windley Key Fossil Reef Geological State Park. Be sure to check the shuttle schedule in advance and plan your trip, as service may not be frequent.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle in the nearby area. There are bike paths along the Overseas Highway.
