Car
If you are driving, head to the Overseas Highway (US-1), which runs through the Florida Keys. From Key Largo, drive approximately 25 miles south on US-1. You will pass through several islands, including Tavernier and Islamorada. Windley Key Fossil Reef Geological State Park is located at 84900 Overseas Hwy, Islamorada, FL 33036. Look for the park entrance on the right side of the highway. There is a parking fee of $2.00 per vehicle, so be prepared to pay upon arrival.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take the Greyhound bus to Florida City. From Florida City, you will need to transfer to the Keys Shuttle service. The shuttle can take you to various points in the Florida Keys, including Islamorada. Once you reach Islamorada, you may need to walk or use a rideshare service to get to the park, which is about 2 miles from the nearest shuttle stop. Be sure to check the shuttle schedule in advance, as service may vary. Note that there may be costs for both the Greyhound and shuttle services.

For the more adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in the Florida Keys and ride to Windley Key Fossil Reef Geological State Park. There are bike rental shops in Key Largo and Islamorada.
