Friendship Fountain: A Serene Oasis in Jacksonville

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in Downtown Jacksonville, the easiest way to reach Friendship Fountain is by walking. Start at the Main Street Bridge, which is a central landmark in downtown. From the bridge, head south on Main Street, then turn left onto East Bay Street. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Museum Circle. Turn right onto Museum Circle, and you will see Friendship Fountain ahead. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  You can take the bus to get to Friendship Fountain. Locate the nearest bus stop in Downtown Jacksonville, such as the one at the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) on Bay Street. Check the JTA schedule for Bus Route 10, which travels towards Southbank. Board the bus heading towards the Southbank, and get off at the stop closest to Museum Circle. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Friendship Fountain located at 1015 Museum Cir. Please note that a one-way bus fare is approximately $1.50.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from one of the local bike-sharing services available in Downtown Jacksonville. Locate a nearby bike station and rent a bike. From the center of Downtown, head south towards the Southbank area. Follow the designated bike lanes along Bay Street, then turn onto Museum Circle. Friendship Fountain will be directly ahead. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on your pace.
