From downtown Jacksonville, walk to the nearest JTA bus stop. Take the JTA Bus Route 10 (Northside) towards the Jacksonville International Airport. Ride the bus until you reach the intersection of Florida A1A and Heckscher Drive. The ride should take around 40-50 minutes. Once you arrive at the intersection, disembark from the bus. From there, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes along Florida A1A to reach the entrance of Big Talbot Island State Park. The park entrance will be on your right, marked clearly with signs.
