From Pensacola Beach, head west on Via De Luna Dr toward the intersection with Fort Pickens Rd. Continue to follow Fort Pickens Rd until you reach the junction with US-98. Merge onto US-98 N and continue for approximately 12 miles. Take the exit for I-10 W toward Mobile and merge onto I-10 W. After about 5 miles, take exit 12A for US-29 N toward Pensacola. Follow US-29 N for about 8 miles, and then take exit 1A for Florida 295 S toward Gulf Breeze. Continue on Florida 295 S for 3 miles until you reach the exit for Bauer Rd. Turn left onto Bauer Rd, and the entrance to Tarkiln Bayou Preserve State Park will be on your left.
