Walking
If you're staying in the Rosemary District, you can walk to Rosemary Cemetery in just a few minutes. Start at the corner of Main Street and Central Avenue. Head north on Central Avenue for about 0.3 miles, and you'll see the cemetery on your right at 851 Central Ave. Just keep an eye out for the entrance, which is well marked.
Public Transit
To reach Rosemary Cemetery using public transit, look for the Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) bus routes that service the downtown area. You can board bus route 99 from any stop along Main Street. Get off at the stop near Central Avenue. From there, walk north along Central Avenue for about 0.2 miles until you reach 851 Central Ave, where the cemetery is located.
Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in downtown Sarasota. Once you have your bike, head north on Main Street until you reach Central Avenue. Turn right on Central Avenue and continue biking north for about 0.3 miles. The cemetery will be on your right. There are bike racks available near the entrance.
