Cross the bridge onto Sanibel Island and follow Periwinkle Way. At the end of Periwinkle Way, turn left onto Tarpon Bay Road and follow it until you reach the end. Here, you will find the Tarpon Bay Explorers, where you can rent a kayak or take a ferry to Cayo Costa State Park. The ferry ride costs approximately $37 per person round trip, and it operates on a schedule, so be sure to check the timings in advance. Once you arrive at Cayo Costa, you can explore the park's beautiful beaches and wildlife.
