If you are driving from the city center of Fort Myers, head east on Colonial Blvd toward US-41 S. Merge onto US-41 S and continue to follow it for about 25 miles. Take the exit onto I-75 N and drive for approximately 30 miles. Take exit 164 for FL-60 W toward Bartow. Continue on FL-60 W for about 15 miles, then turn left onto US-17 S. Follow US-17 S for about 10 miles until you reach Fort Meade. The W. Henry Lewis House Historical Marker will be located in Fort Meade at 27.757275, -81.797303.
