From the center of Aix-en-Provence, head to the 'Gare Routière' (Bus Station) located at Avenue de l'Europe. You can take the bus line 17 towards 'Gordes'. The trip will take approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Gordes' stop. From there, you will need to walk about 20-25 minutes to reach Abbaye de Sénanque. Follow the main road through the village of Gordes, and look for signs pointing towards the Abbey. The path is mostly downhill.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Aix-en-Provence. Start from the Place de la Rotonde and head north on Avenue de l'Université. Follow the signs for the D100 road towards Gordes. The ride will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once in Gordes, follow the signs to Abbaye de Sénanque, which is about 5 kilometers from the village center. The route is scenic but be prepared for some uphill biking.

Walking to Abbaye de Sénanque from Aix-en-Provence is not recommended due to the distance (approximately 35 kilometers) and lack of direct pedestrian paths. However, if you are up for a long hike, you could start by heading towards the Durance River and follow the rural paths towards Gordes. It would take several hours, and you should ensure you have sufficient water and food, as the route is quite rural.
