If you are starting from Annecy's main train station (Gare d'Annecy), exit the station and head east towards Rue de la Gare. Turn left onto Rue de la Gare and walk straight for about 400 meters until you reach Place de la Gare. From there, follow Rue de la République, which will lead you straight to the Old Town (Vieille Ville) of Annecy. Once in the Old Town, continue on Rue de la République until you reach the canal. Follow the canal along Quai de l'Isle until you arrive at the beautiful Parc Charles Bosson. Continue walking through the park, which will eventually lead you to Promenade de la Treille. The total walking distance is approximately 2 kilometers and should take around 25-30 minutes.
