Château Lanessan remains a popular Left Bank wine with consumers, due to its traditional, Bordeaux-styled wine, low price, and ability to age for decades. Chateau Lanessan needs some time before it can be enjoyed. Young vintages can be decanted for an average of 90 minutes to 2 hours. This allows the wine to soften and open its perfume. Today, the 8th generation of the Bouteiller family is carrying on the family legacy. Since 2020, the management of the estate has been carried out by a new team that has strengthened its historical partnership with Eric Boissenot.
