    From the Palais des Papes, walk towards Place de l'Horloge and continue along Rue de la République. Turn onto Boulevard de la Ligne, where you'll find the stairs or ramps leading up to Rocher des Doms. The walk from the Palais des Papes takes approximately 5 minutes.

Major taxi ranks are located in front of the central and TGV railway stations, as well as Raspail (rue de la République), St Lazare (near the university) and place Pie.
