Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from Place de la Bourse, head south towards the Garonne River. Once you reach the riverbank, turn left and walk along the riverfront promenade. Continue walking until you see the Pont de Pierre bridge. Cross the bridge, and once you reach the other side, turn right onto Quai de la Monnaie. Keep walking straight, and after about 10 minutes, you will see the Basilique Saint-Michel on your left at 16 Pl. Meynard.

    If you're near Place des Quinconces, take Tram Line C (the orange line) towards Palais de Justice. Get off at the stop called 'Saint-Michel.' After exiting the tram, walk straight ahead until you reach the large square (Place Meynard), where the Basilique Saint-Michel is located. The basilica will be directly in front of you.

    From Gare Saint-Jean, take Bus Line 1 towards Mérignac Aéroport. Get off at the stop 'Saint-Michel.' After disembarking, walk towards the square (Place Meynard) where the Basilique Saint-Michel is located. The basilica is prominently visible from the square.
