Public Transport
From the central Bordeaux train station (Gare Saint-Jean), take the TER (regional train) towards Le Verdon-sur-Mer. The train departs regularly and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the station 'Cussac-Fort-Médoc'. Upon exiting the station, head north on Rue de la Gare toward Rue du Général de Gaulle. Continue straight onto Route du Fort Médoc (D2) for about 1.5 km, and Château Lanessan will be on your left at 113 Lanessan.

From central Bordeaux, take bus line 701 towards Pauillac. The bus departs from the Bordeaux Saint-Jean bus terminal. After approximately 45 minutes, you will arrive at the stop 'Cussac-Fort-Médoc'. From the bus stop, walk east on Avenue de la Libération, then turn left onto Route du Fort Médoc (D2). Continue straight for about 1 km, and you will find Château Lanessan on your right at 113 Lanessan.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Bordeaux. Start at Place des Quinconces and head towards the Pont de Pierre bridge. Cross the river and follow the bike paths along the banks of the Garonne and the Gironde. Continue north until you reach Cussac-Fort-Médoc, which is approximately 13 km from Bordeaux. Once in Cussac, follow the signs to Château Lanessan located at 113 Lanessan.
