Getting There

  • Train

    From Bordeaux, head to the Bordeaux Saint-Jean train station. You can take tram line C to reach the station, or take a taxi if you prefer. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Pauillac. The train ride takes approximately 45 minutes. Upon arrival at Pauillac station, exit the station and turn left onto Avenue de la Gare. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de la République. Turn right onto Rue de la République and continue walking until you reach the D2 road. Turn left onto D2 and follow it for about 2 kilometers until you see Château Pichon Baron on your right.

  • Bus

    From the center of Bordeaux, you can take the bus line 701 from the 'Place des Quinconces' bus stop, heading towards Pauillac. The journey takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Pauillac' stop. From there, walk straight along Rue de la République until you reach the D2 road. Turn left onto D2 and continue for approximately 2 kilometers until you see Château Pichon Baron on your right.

    You can rent a bicycle in Bordeaux. Start from the city center and head towards the 'Pont de Pierre' bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the cycling path leading to the D2 road. Continue on the cycling path along the D2 road in the direction of Pauillac. The bike ride is approximately 30 kilometers and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace.
