If you're starting from the city center, head to the closest tram station, which could be Place des Quinconces or Palais Rohan. Board Tram Line B in the direction of 'Rocade' or 'Pessac Centre'. Stay on the tram for about 15 minutes, and get off at the 'Cité du Vin' stop. After exiting the tram, follow the signs for Cité du Vin, which is just a short 5-minute walk along the Quai de Bacalan.

For those near the city center, head to the nearest bus stop, such as 'Gambetta', and take Bus Line 14. Ride the bus for approximately 20 minutes until you arrive at the 'Cité du Vin' stop. Once you get off, follow the signs pointing towards Cité du Vin, and it will be just a short 5-minute walk along the waterfront.

Walking
If you prefer to walk and are located in the downtown area, you can head towards the riverfront. Walk along Rue de la Porte de Bourgogne towards the Garonne River. Continue along the riverbank, following the Quai des Chartrons until you reach Quai de Bacalan. Cité du Vin will be directly ahead at 134 Quai de Bacalan. This scenic route should take around 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.

Bordeaux is bike-friendly, and you can rent a bike from any of the 'V3' bike stations throughout the city. From the city center, head towards the river and follow the bike paths along the Garonne River toward Cité du Vin.
