From the Mont Saint-Michel parking area, follow signs for the free shuttle. After the shuttle drops you off near the entrance, walk through the main gate (Porte de l'Avancée). The Grande Rue is immediately to your right. Be prepared for a steep walk uphill on cobblestones.

From Pontorson train station, take the shuttle bus to Mont Saint-Michel. The shuttle will drop you off near the entrance of the Mont. Walk through the main gate (Porte de l'Avancée), and the Grande Rue will be on your right. Shuttle fare is included in the train ticket or costs approximately €3.10 if purchased separately.

Upon arrival at the designated parking area (2.5 km from Mont Saint-Michel), park your car. Parking fees vary depending on the season and duration. A free shuttle bus ('Le Passeur') is available from the parking area to the Mont. From the shuttle drop-off point, enter through the main gate (Porte de l'Avancée); the Grande Rue is on your right. Parking costs range from €8 to €25 depending on the season and length of stay.
