If you are already in Mont Saint-Michel, you can walk towards Pl. Chateaubriand by heading down the main street, Rue de la Pêcherie. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, then turn left onto Rue du Mont. Follow Rue du Mont until you reach the junction with Rue de la Liberté. Turn right, and keep walking until you see Pl. Chateaubriand on your left. The walk will take approximately 15 minutes.

If you are driving from the Mont Saint-Michel parking area, exit the parking lot and follow the signs towards D976. Turn right onto D976 and continue for about 2 km. At the roundabout, take the second exit to stay on D976. After about 10 km, take the exit toward Saint-Malo. Follow signs for the city center. Once in Saint-Malo, look for parking options near Pl. Chateaubriand, as the area is typically busy. The drive should take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

To reach Pl. Chateaubriand using public transportation from Mont Saint-Michel, take the shuttle bus from the Mont Saint-Michel shuttle station to the nearest train station, which is Pontorson. From Pontorson, board a train to Saint-Malo. Once you arrive at the Saint-Malo train station, exit and walk towards the city center. It is about a 15-minute walk to Pl. Chateaubriand. Follow the signs directing you to the fortified city and head straight towards the beach area where the square is located.
